April Wine Dinners at Seven Acre

Our April Wine Dinner Series is a spring celebration of wine and food. We’re bringing winemakers, guest chefs, and sommeliers to Paoli for five magical nights!

STORY OF SOIL WINE & CHEF ABBI MERRISS
April 24th, 2024 | Bar opens at 5pm, Dinner at 6pm
Story of Soil’s owner and winemaker Jessica Gasca is a leading winemaker in Santa Barbara County, focusing on what she calls “Wine made with Gratitude.” Gasca specializes in small production, single vineyard, single varietal wine, crafted with minimal intervention, with the intention to highlight place.

Chef Abbi Merriss was a James Beard Award semifinalist from 2016-2020 at Indianapolis Indiana’s acclaimed restaurant, BlueBeard. According to Conde Nast Traveler, Merriss’ new Midwestern Cuisine “redefined what it means to cook in the Corn Belt,” while Food and Wine noted that she was primarily responsible for making Indianapolis “one of the most exciting American food scenes.”

Story of Soil and Chef Merriss come together at Seven Acre for a one-of-a-kind five-course dinner that showcases the talents of both winemaker and chef.

CADENCE RESTAURANT & SQUARE WINE CO. TAKEOVER

Named America’s Best New Restaurant by Food & Wine Magazine in 2019, Cadence’s chefs Jon Nodler and Samantha Kincaid wowed the country’s food critics with their seasonal and regional approach to New American Cuisine. Before Cadence, Jon was a James Beard Semi-Finalist for best new Mid-Atlantic Chef; Sam was Food and Wine’s best new pastry chef (& now she’s part of the Seven Acre team!). See the menu.

AMERICAN WINE PROJECT & WINEMAKER ERIN RASMUSSEN
April 10th, 2024 |

Located in downtown Mineral Point, American Wine Project and its winemaker Erin Rasmussen have been heralded as one of America’s most innovative wine companies. Rasmussen focuses on the opportunities associated with cold-climate winemaking with Midwestern grapes. Seven Acre’s chefs will craft a 5-course dinner that celebrates Erin’s incredible wines, with a focus on early spring produce, meats, & cheeses from the Sugar River Valley.

A NIGHT WITH CLINE FAMILY CELLARS
April 17th, 2024 | Bar opens at 5pm, Dinner at 6pm
Cline Family Cellars is a legendary name in Sonoma County winemaking, having produced award-winning wines in the region for over 40 years. Jesse Morrow from Cline will walk guests through a “Tour of Sonoma,” showcasing their exceptional vintages of single varietals. Seven Acre’s chefs will craft a 5-course dinner that highlights California Cuisines and the winemaking and terroir of Sonoma. This is the first of a two-night series featuring wines and wineries of Sonoma County.

$90/pp, includes wines and 5-course dinner. $180/pp for both April 17 (Cline) and 18th (Share-A-Splash). Gratuity, Tax, and additional N/A and Alcoholic Beverages are not included.

SHARE A SPLASH WINE CO. & WINEMAKER ONDINE CHATTAN
April 18th, 2024 | Bar opens at 5pm, Dinner at 6pm
Ondine Chattan has overseen winemaking for some of Sonoma’s most famous brands and boutique producers in her two decades of winemaking. Today, she’s the winemaker for Share A Splash Wine Co. Seven Acre’s chefs will craft a 5-course dinner that highlights and celebrates Ondine’s remarkable craft. The dinner will feature global approaches to local foods–all crafted to pair with Ondine’s wines. This is the second of our two-night series featuring wines and wineries of Sonoma County.

$100/pp, includes wines and dinner. $180/pp for both April 17 (Cline) and 18th (Share-A-Splash). Gratuity, Tax, and additional N/A and Alcoholic Beverages are not included.
